RandBand is a free, silly tool that generates random band names. Use it for fun. Don’t use it to do anything illegal. We make no guarantees. That’s pretty much it.
By using RandBand, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please stop using the site.
RandBand is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. You may use generated band names however you like — name your actual band, use them in a game, print them on a shirt, whatever.
You agree not to use RandBand to:
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or damage the service
• Scrape or automate requests in a way that burdens the service
RandBand is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the service will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Generated band names are random — we make no claims about their originality, trademark status, or fitness for any purpose.
Before naming your real band, check that the name isn’t already trademarked or in use. That’s on you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of RandBand. Our total liability for any claim is limited to zero dollars, because this is a free tool with no commercial relationship between us.
The RandBand application, its source code, and its word lists are owned by Jason Stoudt. Generated band names are yours to use freely — we claim no ownership over the output.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of RandBand after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
